Welcome, Rachael Peavler!
Loughlin Water Associates is thrilled to welcome Principal Hydrogeologist and Project Manager Rachael Peavler, PG, PMP, to the team. With nearly two decades of experience in groundwater characterization, water resource planning, and mine water management, Rachael brings a strong technical foundation and a proven record of leading complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Rachael has supported municipal and regional water suppliers through groundwater supply assessments, aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) feasibility studies, well siting evaluations, and deep well drilling oversight for clients across Oregon and Washington. She has also led major hydrogeologic programs for mining clients throughout North and South America, specializing in dewatering system design, groundwater modeling, tailings and seepage management, and environmental permitting. Prior to joining Loughlin Water Associates, Rachael served in senior leadership roles in the mining sector, where she was responsible for project oversight, growth strategy, team development, and technical quality across a diverse mining portfolio.At Loughlin Water Associates, Rachael will work closely with the Loughlin team, as well as other Geo-Logic companies’ mining team members, to support clients in developing reliable water supplies, evaluating hydrogeologic risk, and navigating regulatory and operational challenges.

GLA Ranks on ENR 2025 Top Environmental Firm List
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Geo-Logic Associates (GLA), we’re proud to rank among Engineering News-Record’s Top 200 Environmental Firms again this year! ENR highlighted our work in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS/CCS) as an example of how the industry is adapting to regulatory changes. As ENR noted, GLA—ranked No. 144—is helping New Mexico energy officials gain primacy from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for permitting and oversight of carbon dioxide (CO₂) sequestration wells.
Our carbon management team partners with project operators, state agencies, and universities to support Class VI regulatory and monitoring programs. We provide full-scope support for Class VI primacy applications and Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program Revisions, customized to each state’s needs and timeline.
Beyond carbon management, our Enhanced Metal Recovery process continues to help mining clients unlock previously unrecoverable gold, silver, and copper. And thanks to our team’s deep technical expertise, we’re expanding support for solid waste and water resources projects across both public and private sectors.

Exciting news! Loughlin Water has joined Geo-Logic Associates (GLA), an employee-owned, multidisciplinary environmental, civil and geotechnical engineering consulting firm with more than 300 employees located in 28 offices in the U.S. and abroad. As Principal Hydrogeologist, Bill Loughlin, PG, will maintain leadership of the Park City, Utah, office, and as a wholly owned subsidiary of GLA, we will continue to serve our clients in Utah and beyond. Loughlin Water can now offer an even broader array of consulting services to provide solutions to challenges for water resources, natural resources, municipal projects, landfills, mines, and contaminated sites.
